That will linger as time goes by?
Sounds funny now, thinking back to so many years ago, that we sang this song on the last night of preference. I fell in love with this sorority the first day of Rush and knew I was destined to be a DG. Delta Gamma is the amazing sorority that I belong to. Not only did I develop some of the most special friendships in my life, but I belong to an organization that changes lives. DG's motto is "Do Good" and that is exactly what every DG I know has done in her life. Delta Gamma's philanthropy is Service for Sight and it is so moving to see all that they do for the visually impaired.
Yesterday I joined 389 Delta Gammas to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Long Beach Chapter. I am proud to be a Delta Gamma and hope to serve the Fraternity someday when my children are older and I have more time to give back to her.
As part of the 50th Anniversary, the coordinators recognized all past president's of the chapter. It was an honor to stand up next to 28 other women who also held that office while in college.
