Girls Rule!

As a general rule in our home, we don't play organized sports until we are 5.  I want my kids to be kids and not have the pressure of sports and commitments of practice and games.  Well, I guess the 3rd child is different.  My little Cupcake begged to play ball like her brothers.  She asked over and over again.  Well, mama gave in!  she is playing baseball this Spring.  Now I know what you're thinking...why is she playing on a boys team?  Well, girls softball won't start 'til 5 years old, so we had to put her in Pony League.  She's got her cousin on her team. She is ready to play ball...she insisted on wearing her brother's old pants, her pink cap, wanted a pink bat and batting helmet!  She was adorable to watch at her first practice and she is excited to play ball!  It's going to a fun baseball season.....
