A few days of rest....

This week was a restful week.  Tuesday I drove K up to my sister's house and my in-laws came over to watch the boys so I could join J at the PwC Leadership Forum at the St. Regis in Monarch Beach.  The wives are invited to come and join their spouses for a restful vacation, while the employees do some networking and listen to lots of talented speakers in Intellectual Property.  It is a wonderful event.  The dinners are wonderful and the activities are always great.  Since this year the forum was held in our own backyard (so-to-speak - I didn't need to fly any where or travel more than 25 minutes to get there), I decided to spend the few days at the St. Regis in the Spa.  On Thursday morning I woke up and went for a run along Salt Creek Beach.  The weather was beautiful and the run was great.  I went to the spa and was pampered with a european facial that was amazing!  I enjoyed the spa amenities and later joined my husband for dinner.  It was a   1940's theme dinner.  There was a live band playing big band music.

We took this picture in front of a green screen and then we chose the background.  It was so fun.  Then I spent Friday at the spa as well.  I enjoyed a relaxation massage.  It was great.  My poor husband worked his tail off this week, but I was able to rest and relax.  I  missed my lovies, but know it's good to get some rest every now and then.  It was fun to see old friends there and make some great new ones.  It was a great week.
