Curly is playing his first season of baseball! He looks so cute in his practice gear and I can't wait to see him in his uniform this coming weekend when the IPL has its opening day! Yours truly is the team mom for both teams.....that's right folks, BOTH TEAMS! Am I crazy? Yes, I think I am! I am crazy about my boys and when noone would step up....I felt like I had to make Curly's first season a homerun for him...so here I am team mom for the Giants! And, what a great team we've got! An awesome set of parents and the cutest kids in town! I missed the first practice, but made it today and it was such a joy to watch these little guys learn the All-American sport of baseball!
My machine-pitch player had his first practice on Saturday....we were able to get a practice in before the rains arrived on Saturday! It was so great to see my boy doing what he does best! He has an awesome team with some neat kids and a great set of parents! This is his 4th season playing and he's an old pro now! It will be fun to watch him play this season and learn to cheer on his brother now (I think Curly has sat through his fair share of games to root on JT - now it's JT's turn).
This team mom has her gear on it's way....that's right - I will be wearing my spirit sleeves - complete with their logo from the Twins and Giants and a matching visor for each! I can't wait to cheer my boys on this spring! My weeks will be crazy running around taking each to practice and two games a week for JT, doing all the duties of team mom, running around after my little girl who will be stuck watching her brothers play baseball....but I will LOVE every minute of it because it doesn't last forever and it will be over before I know it! So, if I am MIA this spring....you know why!

Is this what's coming for me? I can't imagine! And let me just point out for the record how insanely JEALOUS I am that it is still FEBRUARY and you all are doing outdoor sport things w/out the benefit of hats, gloves, scarves, and down coats. Oh wait...you never have to use that stuff! My mistake. I'll go back to looking out my window at the frozen tundra now!

Love all the support for my boys and me! I love baseball season....never thought I would! I was a very girly girl growing up and never watched sports. But it's a whole different ball game when it's your lovey's playing! I will post more this week after opening day tomorrow! Go Giants! Go Twins! Wait, I said that already...oh well.
