Thanks, Jeff, for still opening my doors.
For loving on me when I need it.
For blessing me with the greatest job ever, motherhood!
I love you!

M3 (on a Friday)
It's been a while since I've posted in the M3 category. I have slacked so much on my blog, that I am going to post this week's M3 (Manly Man Mondays):
I LOVE this guy! I want to affirm him for his love and dedication to our family! This guy works so hard week in and week out. He leaves for work between 5:45 and 6 on most days and gets home at 7. I often try to encourage him to go out and do something for himself and his answer is always the same...."I'd rather be with my family and my kids!" Seriously amazes me! He loves being with us. He loves on us. He dedicates himself to us every day. I love that he sacrifices so much for us! I. LOVE. THIS. GUY.

thanks, J, for giving us all that you can all the time. We love you!

M3
It's Monday- lots for me to write about why I love my guy.
This last weekend we hosted a Colombian Feast at our house with some friends. He spent the entire weekend working around the house to help get our house ready. I did a lot of cooking and preparation. He was so excited to do a themed dinner that he actually went online to find a recipe for a Colombian Appetizer to serve. I love that he was so into hosting a dinner that helped me share my heritage with my friends! On top of all the things he did this weekend, he has been working his tail off at work. Being a Partner has proved to be more stressful than we thought and he has been so stressed! I am so proud of the work he does, with little complaint, he works 16 hour days and comes home to be with the kids and me. I am truly blessed to have a husband that sacrifices so much for his family and puts us first! Thanks, babe, for all you do for us! We love you!

M3
It's Monday and time to recognize the positive things my hubby does. I want to preface this by saying my man is in no way perfect! These M3 postings are to encourage him and remind me of the positive!
Now - why do I LOVE my man -
He spent several hours teaching the kids to surf on Saturday! He took all three kids out to surf Saturday afternoon and enjoyed every minute of it! It wasn't easy...Cupcake complained that the water was cold and that she didn't want to get her head wet, but J just kept at it with her! Thanks, babe, for sacrificing your surf time to teach our kiddos something new and fun!

I missed it this week...oops. Wed. post is better than nothing right?
Last week when I was feeling under the weather J took the initiative to make dinner several nights! I was really happy that he gave me a break from cooking and that after several long and stressful days at work, he made dinner for our crew! Thanks, babe, for doing a "pink" job to give me a hand!

M3- Time to honor my Manly Man
It's Monday and my man is in Korea. Yes, he got home Friday from Colorado Springs and woke up at 5:30 am Saturday to leave for Korea. Man he is a hard worker. I wanted to honor him because this week he officially becomes a Partner for PricewaterhouseCoopers. After almost 15 years and endless hours of work, his big day is finally here! He did it and I am so proud of him. I have seen him grow so much in the past 15 years with PwC. I have seen him say good-bye to lots of co-workers, always keeping his dedication to this company he loves so much and is so committed to. He stuck with PwC all these years. He stuck it out when he didn't make partner. I am so proud of this man's work ethic and dedication. What really makes me the most proud is that not only does he have amazing work ethic, but he is truly a family man. He comes home from work and spends time with the kids and when they go to bed, he pulls out his lap top and finishes his work. He sacrifices his sleep so that he can be with us. I love this man. I am so proud of him and the wonderful man he is. I am proud of the man he has become over the past 16 1/2 years we've been together (11 1/2 married).
Congratulations, Babe, on your Partnership with PwC. Here's to a wonderful career ahead as a Partner. We love you!

M3...even though it's not Monday!
I know this one is a little late this week...but Monday was spent with my hubby before he left this week. He gets home tomorrow evening and then leaves for Korea on Saturday morning. I have really missed him this week. Our family just does not function properly with out him here. I have been trying to fill my time with chores, moms night outs, bible study, and fun stuff. But, it just isn't the same. So, for this week's M3 Posting, I wanted to stress how much our daddy, lover and best friend completes our family. Life is not the same with out him. The nights are lonely and restless. The days are long and we just do not function the same with out him. I miss him so much and just don't sleep the same when he's gone. I find when he is home, my head hits the pillow and I'm out! When J is gone, I have insomnia and can't get to bed. I'm looking forward to sleeping well tomorrow night before I spend 10 days with out the love of my life!
Thanks, Babe, for being such a crucial part of our family! We miss you! We love you! We are not the same with out you! xoxoxoxo

M3 (a day late)
This post was meant to go up yesterday. This week's M3 about what I Love about my man:
When Curly turned two years old I was ready to get pregnant again. J was done. He said he thought having 2 boys was a perfect family. I agreed, but felt a strong desire to have another baby. Boy or girl, I just wanted to have a big family. I am so thankful to my husband for praying and seeking God's Will for our family. When he came home from a long trip to Korea in the summer of 2004 and told me that I could have my wish come true of having another baby, I was so happy. He told me that he prayed and felt God telling him to trust that our family would be okay.
God blessed our family with our baby girl. She was born on 6/8/2005 and has been a blessing to our family. So, thanks, babe, for trusting in the Lord and letting me have that 3rd baby.

It's Monday...time to hear why I adore my man...
J is so encouraging about my running. He is actually the reason I have this addiction. He bought me my first pair of running shoes and told me he "thought' I would like running. I laughed at him...me, the girl who "hated" running. The girl who felt like a smoker when she ran 400 yards! Ha Ha, me, yah, right! He just kept encouraging me and never stopped. He said, without hesitation, that I could go to Oregon to run a race. He got home from Man Camp yesterday and I had to run 9 miles this week (I am in official training for my 1st full Marathon, so running cannot be skipped). J was exhausted from a fun filled weekend up at Palomar, but he encouraged me and gave me the o.k. to leave for a long run. He had lots of work to catch up, was super tired and still was encouraging. He is always like this when it comes to me doing anything.
Thank you, J, for always supporting the things I get my mind set on doing! You are an amazing husband and I am so blessed to have you!

It's Manly Man Monday and it's time to share a little more about why I love my man!
After 17 years together (11 1/2 years married), my guy makes me laugh!
My guy always keeps me laughing. He's got a fun about him that is contagious! My boys want to be like their daddy and get a laugh out of people any chance they get. Don't be surprised if you walk in front of his car and get a honk (JT now covers his ears whenever he walks in front of J's car). He loves to put a little hot sauce on a bite of food and let me taste it! Or if you happen to be sleeping over, check your toothbrush, there may be soap on it....there is never a dull moment around here! He makes life so much more fun for me!
Thanks, Babe, for being so much fun and never taking life too serious! You are awesome and you keep us laughing all the time! We love you!

M3:Manly Man Mondays (or Tuesday this week)
My most favorite person in the world is my husband! It is my hope to share with each of you something special, cool, totally radical or sweet about my man! So, I will be posting on Mondays about my Manly Man:
I love that J is so patient with our kids! When we were first dating (almost 17 years ago), he met me in Big Bear California. I had only skied twice before and he was a "mogul, black diamond run, the steeper and bumpier the better" skier. I fell getting off the darn lift! He was so into the snow on the mountain, he lost his patience with me! I was so upset. Last Winter we decided we wanted to start the kids skiing. I reminded him about that sad day sooo many years ago. He laughed and said he wouldn't be that way with our precious kids. He was amazing! He has been amazing. He works with the kids on their batting and pitching, shooting hoops, swimming and chess. He is so patient and always willing to be there for his kids! I love watching this man with his children - it makes me adore him more everyday!
Now, go and share what you love about your man and link it back here so I can read your post!
