Goal to get back to blogging....

It's been a really, really long time since I've posted.  A lot has gone on in the past year and a half since I've posted.  I've got a teenager now who's starting Junior High next year.  I've got two swimmers and the one who originally was my swimmer, is now playing basketball. I burned my foot in April and haven't gotten back into a workout routine.  I love food and let's face it, I've put on a few pounds since my injury!

 We've settled into our house, but still constantly working on it.  I'm going to make a commitment to myself to get back to blogging.  I don't know if any one is going to be reading this, but I do know I miss having a place to share the happenings of my life, a place to share favorite recipes and a place to look back on things that have gone on.  If you're visiting, please let me know.  I guess the most important thing for me to post today is that I want to be real on this blog.  I want to share the things in my life that are good and bad.  Life isn't always easy.  I find that when I'm on Facebook, everyone posts all the good stuff in life and it makes me feel like I'm lacking somewhere.  I want whoever reads this blog to know that life isn't easy for me. I have a husband that works 60-80 hour weeks.  I have kids that fight like crazy.  I have days where I feel alone and sad.  I have days where I'm on top of the world!  I am a stay home mom, who loves Jesus and am a constant work in progress.  I'm glad you're here and I hope to share some of life's experiences with you.  

So, with that said, here we go...I'm going to work hard at blogging again!
