What's a Mom to do
When her boy has had a fever of 103.5 and all he wants is her? What is a mom to do when she's been training for a marathon and her boy says he doesn't want her to leave, but he wants her to run her race? I won't be running my marathon this weekend. It is a big let down for me, but the bottom line is my boy needs me and he's got a bad case of the flu. We are pretty sure it's the swine flu and he doesn't seem to be getting any better. Thank you to all who have cheered me on....I will run a marathon, just not this one. It's sad and unfortunate for me, but I am my boy's mama and he needs me right now.

What a good mama you are! When a boys needs his mom, he needs his mom. I'm so proud of the choice you made. He will always remember that you stayed home with him. You are a rockstar to train so hard for this race. I think your journey is more important than the destination :) xoxo
