JT met his teacher, Mrs. K, on Tuesday as well. He got his desk set up and was able to spend some special time with her. He was very sad at first because he had is heart set on a team-teaching class - but is now really excited to have Mrs. K and thinks it is going to be a great year!
This morning my Curly had his first day of Kindergarten. He knows Mrs. S because brother had her 2 years ago and he is excited to be in her class!
Here is JT with his great buddy, Luke! They have been the best of buds since they were in Junior Kindergarten and were sad that they are not in class together this year, but they are looking forward to playing some sports on the playground at recess!
My Curly is not in class with his best buds either. Here he is with Colin and Caleb. They are in the half-day class and Curly wanted to have Mrs. S (she only teaches full day)!

OK, seriously? your kids could NOT be any cuter.
And HELLO?!?! You need a post NOW about the RNC! I might be a little souped up on caffeine a little too late into the night, but "my knees are knockin' and my teeth are chatterin.' " I couldn't be more excited about this race!
Thinking of you and your sweeties as they head off to school! Does that mean you'll have more time to run?
(and yes, party after 13 --- it was actually a great idea! I never had the chance to have the 'tired letdown' after the run!)
