Everynight at our hotel we are able to watch the "fire-man" from our hotel room, but also get a great view from the pool deck. We have been enjoying the free entertainment with the kids:
Yesterday we rented a convertable jeep and took a drive around most of the Island. Boy, is this island amazing! I can see why it became the mecca for world travelors. Here are the kids enjoying the Jeep
We started the day in Lanikai (which is right next to Kailua)
After Curly and J got stung by a jellyfish and everyone was okay, we then drove up and around the entire North Shore...Here are some highlights:

Aloha! Oahu is my fav island. So much to see and do. I'm glad you guys are having fun. Shaved ice is a must while you are there but you can probably skip the poi. See you back on the mainland. :)
