Open House Tuesday

Last night was open house for both boys.  I love going to Open house and seeing all the amazing things my children have been working on.  It was a busy Tuesday for us - JT had a game at 5:30 p.m. We all went to his game - then I left with Curly and Cupcake for Curly's Open House.  Boy, was I impressed with my 5 year old and his ability to really see who he his...His teacher has been so wonderful this year and has taught him so many wonderful things.  Here is something that was so amazing to see - the picture on the left Curly did in October and the one on the right he recently did - they are both self-portraits:



Aparently those are light sabers in his hand and Obi Wan Kanobe on his shirt.

I love that he has learned so much about art this year with Mrs. R.  She has been so great for him this year and I know he is going to  miss her next year - Thank you, Mrs. R for an amazing year!



JT's team WON the game - apparently it was a very exciting 4th and 5th Inning - and my JT was player of the game!  Congrats, son, on an awesome game! 



At 7:15 we went to JT's classroom to see all the amazing things he's been working on.  Unfortunately, I don't think you all want to read the stories and writing that he has done all year!  It was so amazing to see how much my boy has learned in 1st Grade.  He wrote a book (a really cute, illustrated book) and had a book of all his bible verses and illustrations for each.  It was a joy to see how neat he can write and how well he is doing in school.  We chatted with Mrs. C for a while and feel so blessed by her too!  She has been an amazing teacher and has taught my boy so much this year!  I am so sad the year is coming to a close so rapidly.  Although I am ready for summer fun, I am so sad that my boys will be leaving their great teacher.
