With all the stress that my team and I have been through at work, today was a great day for RH (great friend of mine from work) and I to be sick. This was the best "sick" day that I have ever had in our local mountains. The conditions at Mt. Baldy are as good as they get! The mountain had great powder conditions and as you can see most of the skiing was above the clouds. The only problem was that my body did not hold up like I would have liked. Not quite like the days in college. While the mind has a plan to "tear up" the moguls like the old days, the skiis don't seem to respond like they used to. It has been about 10 years since I had a day like this (just the "boys" on the slopes). While I am not sure that I will be able to walk for a few days, the day was great!

RH and I just after a great greasy chile cheese burger in the lodge.

While we had some great powder tree skiing, this was the run of the day. RH and I are drawn to the same type of runs, cornice at the top just to make "dropping in" to the run a little more challenging and then some great powder filled mogul lines. This was a shot of that run from the lodge.
