K, along with her brothers and cousins, loved the short 26 minute ride to San Juan Capistrano.
We ate lunch at Ruby's Diner (right off the train depot) which has 3 trains in the diner - it was yummy and so cool!
There were 5 kids altogether and they had a great time!
We crossed the tracks and went to the Los Rios District Petting Zoo - it was a ton of fun!
Then we waited for the return train to Santa Ana Depot.
It was a great day! My Aunt Cathy joined us and the kids loved seeing her! What a way to end our Christmas break!

I will definitely! It was so much fun! Your boys would LOVE it! It was just the right amount of time too! I think the total trip took 3 hours...just in time to be home and rest before making dinner!
We love doing that! We also ride to Fullerton train station to have dinner at Spagetti Factory sometimes and the first day of summer we ride it to San Clemente and spend the day at the beach. Looks like you guys had a great day!
