Remembering my dear friend, Yolie Snyder

As many of you know on April 7, 2007, my dear friend Yolanda Snyder went home to be with the Lord. Yolanda is survived by her 3 beautiful boys (pictured above), Tristan (7), Parker (4) and Dane (2). These photos are of us is 2000 when we dedicated our first born boys, J and T at Rock Harbor Church in Costa Mesa and a photo of us on a trip to Lake Arrowhead. She was an amazing mother, friend, sister and daughter to those who knew her. She loved the Lord and always shared the gift of salvation with those around her. I loved her very much and will always treasure the friendship we shared and the time I got to spend with her.

Yolie's boys are currently living with Yolie's brother right now (please pray that they will be allowed to stay together and that there will be enough provision for them to stay with loved ones). Please pray that the justice system will prevail and that Terry gets life in prison for what he has done.

I am including some information from the controller of Mariners church regarding a memorial fund to benefit her boys. If you feel led to help them, please take a moment to read the information below. Thank you and God bless all those that have already so generously helped these beautiful boys!

Mariners Church has approved the establishment of a Memorial Fund for Yolie Snyder. Checks can be made out to Mariners Church and in the Memo line write Yolie Snyder Memorial Fund. Checks can be mailed to Mariners Church Attn Controller 5001 Newport Coast Drive Irvine CA 92603 These funds will be used to help cover the additional expenses that will be incurred by the court appointed custodian of the three children. 100 percent of the funds received will be disbursed to the custodian on a reimbursement basis must provide receipts. For those who are following this, Terry had his court appearance today. The coward plead not guilty to all the charges he is facing, he also denied the charge of ENH-Deadly Weapon. I guess in my heart I had hoped he would be brave enough to admit that he did what he did! Please continue to pray that the justice system will prevail and that he will never see another day as a free man! Please also, do not forget to pray for the Snyder boys - they need all the prayers that they can get. I was so sad on Mother's Day thinking about them and wondering how they were doing without their mom on such a special day. Thanks to all who pray!
